Welcome to Quni.org - the home of the Virtual Queer Lounge forum. Quni.org is a community hub of Queer Uni students online. Our website exists to give university queers within Melbourne a place to meet and socialise on the internet.

This new frontpage to Quni.org gives a new range of user applications. You'll see more content once you login, either by using your old forum password or by registering a new one. You'll find some flash games, which you can compete for the higest score. You'll have the ability to write blog entries and read everyone else's blog, viewable when clicking on "Blogs". You can list all members, view everyone's profile, send personal messgaes just like in the forum and also be able to view individual blogs.

You'll notice that the most recent posts are listed below the Virtual Queer Lounge Forum link on the right, so that you know who's posting when you're not even on the forum page. Hopefully this won't detract from forum usage, but compliment it nicely.

On the menu on the left the links include a link to the Virtual Queer Lounge forum because that's where the action is, "News" which will end up including a variety of all types of queer articles (not just about Quni.org). There's "News Feeds" which contains news articles from other websites through RSS feeds. There's a Links section which will need the help of registered users to fill.

Over the next few weeks this website will be expanding to include more community-based web applications. This should bridge the gap between what the forum can and what it can't offer us, by adding several new and interesting things.

On the 1st of January 2007 we revealled the Quni.org forum, which has reached the 100 member mark, includes almost 300 topics with 8000 posts. After two months It has become a thriving community. Our new frontpage is gift for everyone in our wonderful community of queer students.
