I've had it happen. Generally become good friends with them. *shrug*
Once I was friends with someone then developed a huge crush. Didn't end well. Side note funny how olympic gymnasts (male and female) are always so attractive.  |

I think it's definitely possible, as long as you're prepared for the possibility that it may not exist or be the same at the end of it. Or you could just be honest and see what happens. That's worked for me in the past, in the sense that we become really good friends... |

I ran into one of the first girls I ever had a crush on last night. We've had mutual friends for about 8 years but we only see each other a handful of times a year at parties and stuff. We get along pretty well and apparently she had a thing for me too back then (I never wanted to date her or anything, just lay her). We were musing over how different things could have been if either of us had figured that out.
