I had a bad experience with a lift- I guess this pisses me off too. I was waiting for a bus, and some guy drove by, asked for directions, and offered to drive me to where I needed to be. I was in a hurry so I said yes, stupidly assuming he was just a good samaritan. We got to where I needed to go, and he didn't let me out of the car until I kissed him. I did, closed mouthed, simply because I wanted to get out of the fucking car and didn't know if he was a crazy guy who'd zoom me off somewhere and do something worse than a kiss, and I told him I'd call him (of course, I deleted his mobile ASAP and never gave him mine, thank god) and walked off. Before I left, he shouted out the car that he had a secret, and that he was married.
I'm mad at myself for not doing more or saying no vigorously, but I was trying to protect myself, and now I just feel icky.

I saw a dead dog on the nature strip next to burwood highway. It had clearly been run over by a car, the bottom half of it's body was completely crushed. At least someone (I hope the person who hit the dog) had the decency to take the body off the road. I couldn't help but think how easily this could've been prevented though.
